Preg&Lac Mom contains mineral chelates that are absorbed much better than the minerals commonly found in prenatal multivitamins. A daily serving of Preg&Lac Mom provides enough calcium and magnesium for healthy bone and muscle development. The inclusion of vitamins D and K makes it possible to properly channel calcium into hard tissues such as bones and teeth, rather than into soft tissues. Ferrochel chelated iron has not only high bioavailability, but also excellent tolerability. It does not cause constipation like many other sources of iron. Iodine is an important mineral for infants included in this formula, as studies have shown that iodine deficiency in infancy can lead to impaired learning and reduced motivation to achieve.
