Yamaha TRUE X BAR 50A is a 2.1 configuration kit with an external Yamaha TRUE X SUB 100A wireless subwoofer. Each channel of the soundbar has two low-frequency speakers with a diameter of 46 mm and one 25 mm tweeter, and two more speakers located on the top panel are involved in Atmos channels. Since the speakers of both channels are separated by a considerable distance from each other, the sound pattern generated by the Yamaha TRUE X BAR 50A is wide and natural. And to add extra volume to it, which will be especially in demand when watching movies, Dolby Atmos processor processing is provided.
To connect external devices, the soundbar provides an HDMI input and output with 4K video transmission and support for the eARC return audio channel, as well as optical and analog inputs. In addition, this model also provides wireless technologies for playing various music content. Thanks to the Wi-Fi soundbar, the Yamaha TRUE X BAR 50A is able to play music through the popular online services Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. The model supports AirPlay 2 technology. Both Lossless and High Resolution files are suitable for streaming listening. Bluetooth is provided for easy connection of various mobile devices. The soundbar can also be equipped with Yamaha True X Speaker X1A rear speakers, which are pint-sized wireless speakers that can also be taken with you on the road as portable Bluetooth speakers.
The soundbar provides sound processing using DSP, which has 4 operating modes: "Cinema", "Stereo", "Standard" and "Game". There are also two sound enhancement settings in the soundbar: Clear Voice and Bass Extension. The former makes the dialogues clearer (ideal for watching dramas or news), while the latter gives the bass an extra boost for action-packed content such as blockbusters and games. You can control the soundbar using either a remote control or a proprietary mobile application. The Yamaha TRUE X BAR 50A supports the Alexa voice system. The soundbar has a detailed sound with a pleasant tonal balance and does an excellent job of playing music of various genres.
