It is paired with the Ortofon OM5E cartridge, equipped with an elliptical diamond stylus, which provides a balanced sound. The external belt drive with a new seamless silicone belt not only eliminates motor noise, but also provides easy manual speed switching between 33 and 45 rpm.
This model does not have a built-in preamp, so it requires an external preamp or amplifier with special player inputs.
